🌧️✍️ Lluvia is a lyricist, music video animator, and professional translator whose passions are the arts, language and storytelling. She loves character-driven stories with meaningful themes and symbolism that can serve as a fountain of inspiration for lyrical and visual narratives.🌼🎵 Ankari is a music composer, producer, arranger, singer-songwriter with a love for writing music for visual mediums. Their music has an emphasis on creative and catchy melodies and hooks, surprising elements and harmonic turns, and an emotional touch💕🎨They've been working together, both as creatives and as a married couple, across several mediums and projects for over a decade; building off of each other's strengths and complementing their unique perspectives to breathe life into their own, and other people's raw ideas.
Catharsis and Purrty With My Kitties are pop/EDM vocal synth songs with contrasting sections that build from dark to lighter moods, allowing for a narrative progression across a comedic, but relatable story.
Perfect Shot was inspired by Honkai Star Rail character March 7th and draws from magical girl song classics from the late 90s/early 2000s in its instrumentation and harmony, but with a more modern and shorter song structure.Si Estamos Juntos was commissioned as the opening for magical girl Webtoon Original Lupe Mágica. Its Mexican spin on the genre includes several prehispanic instruments, and you can watch the opening animation here.
Letters On The Wall is a Girl's Love Webtoon Original where Ankari has musicalized chapters with various changes in mood and intention.These first three songs are part of the same chapter and are meant be listened to in order. (You can read the full chapter and experience it for yourself here).One Purpose is a final boss battle theme song created as the exciting resolution for Roll With The Punches, a several years-long DnD campaign on Twitch. It has different sections that loop around in order to keep the players and audience hyped up throughout the fight.
We were commissioned an original song in the style of the Great American Songbook for the Señorita Cometa Webtoon S2 finale (currently app exclusive), where the music slowly joins and builds up the scene as the main characters dance together to illustrate a gradually increasing sense of romance. Lluvia first wrote the lyrics in English for genre accuracy, and then adapted them into Spanish for voice actor Mario Heras to record.
